Very Welcome to Brač!
We are happy that you have found our „Vila-Bine Website“! Allow us to quickly introduce ourselves: My wife Sabine and I moved to the lovely island of Brač in 2020 to enjoy our retirement - living here year-round since 2022.
We are very happy that we settled down in one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited - and we have seen a lot! We simply love Brač and hope that you will do as well!
Brač is big and just 1 hour by ferry from the mainland - right across from Split (… the hidden Capital of Dalmatia). Split and Omiš are an easy day-trip from our place. Omiš can also be reached by ferry in summer and offers terrific river cruises and even rafting tours on river Cetina! Did you know that Brač has perfect drink water quality? Well, that’s because it gets all pumped over from river Cetina!
In 2024 we bought our second house, located near the beach. We have named it „Vila-Bine“. We started our rental business in July 2025 after almost a full year of refurbishing the house from A to Z.
Originally, we are both from Northern Germany - Sabine (nickname: Bine) was working at the airport Hamburg for a big logistics company but is also the proud mother of our son. Andreas (friends call me Andy) was a Global Sales Director for a big US company for almost all his business life. Andy is also a passionate Ham Radio operator holding extra classes in the USA, Germany and of course in Croatia (callsign: 9A5EAT).
